My name is Efrat Gilad. I was born in Israel and lived there until 2009 when my family and I moved to Seattle, Washington.

I started photographing non-professionaly when I was a liitle kid on the farm, where I grew up.

Later, I purchased a professional camera and started to learn photography.

The move to th U.S. upgraded my abilities and exposed me to the different ways of thinking.

I own a small studio but prefer, most of the time, to photograph outside, using natural light sources.

While photographing I feel connected and belong.

For me, photography is the area where my soul is alive.
